Step 3 - Claim time

> This will set 10 seconds to claim for everyone as default. You can add claim time to a role using `a!claimtime add [role_id] [time]`.
> 
> Please note that the total claim time of a member will be the SUM of ALL the claim times of each of the member's roles. So if you have a special role to get Members 13 seconds, add 3s claim time to that role. Apollo will calculate 10s (default) + 3s (role claim time).

What is claimtime ?

> Whenever you host a giveaway using apollo, each user is given a set "claimtime" i.e the time that they have to claim the "set prize". Using apollo's advanced claimtime manager helps you to give extra claim time to set users/roles. In this section we will go through the details of the claimtime.

> Please refer to the section if you are not familiar with it as claimtime uses overrides.

> This command checks the claimtime for a user or a role. It gives the claimtime for a role and it gives the total claimtime for a user.

> This command adds or updates a specific amount of time (claimtime) to the role mentioned. Use `s` for seconds, `m` for minutes and `h` for hours.

This only works for roles and cannot be set for specific users

What is the config command ?

> This command is like the main control for your entire server. Once this command is executed, apollo sends all the configurations set in your server. Webhook Mode

**Syntax usage:**

Pressing this button will show the winner message that has been set on the server. This menu also lets you enable/disable the win message. You can also set a text win message or embed win message using this menu.

You may click the variables button to see the different variables that can be added to your message.

Pressing this button shows the message that apollo sends whenever a giveaway is being hosted. You can change this to your liking from the regular message sent by apollo. Pressing this button also shows the preview of the current embed that has been set for giveaway messages!

This is a premium feature, to enable it please refer to the

Pressing this button will allow you to enable/disable and edit the webhook that apollo will send for a win message. This feature allows you to use webhooks instead of using the bot to send the winner message.

What is message counter?


------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

> This module of apollo lets users track messages on their discord server. Apollo has a very customisable and advanced message tracking system. This module in any way does not track or store your messages in a database. You can also disable this command for yourself if you wish your messages not be counted by apollo.

Message Counter is disabled by default for your server, use **a!messages enable** to start counting messages in the server.

> This command shows the number of messages that has been sent by the user. You can also use this command to check the message sent by other users in the server too by using **a!messages {@user}** or by using **a!messages {userID}.**

_Blacklist Mode_

> In this mode, apollo will blacklist the given channels where the messages will not be counted. But the messages in all the other channels will be counted as usual.

In the example shown above, we have set apollo to ignore (blacklist) the **#test-channel-1** channel and any messages sent in that channel will not be counted. To add a channel to blacklist, just use the dropdown menu to select it.

_Whitelist Mode_

> In this mode, apollo will whitelist the given channels where the messages will be counted. But the messages in all the other channels will not be counted.

In the example shown above, we have set apollo to only count from the **#test-channel-1** channel and any messages sent in that channel **only** be counted. To add a channel to whitelist, just use the dropdown menu to select it.

Always click on "Save Changes" to make sure the bot has stored your input

You can add multiple channels to the blacklist or the whitelist.

Count from all channels deletes the existing lists and counts from all channels.

`a!messages add` / `a!messages remove`

> This command lets you add or removes messages for a particular user or yourself. Note that this feature can only used by administrators of a server.

Removing messages greater than the messages a user has will reset their message count back to **zero** and not any negative integer.

This command allows you to reset the messages of a particular user in your server.

`a!leaderboard`

This command shows the messages sent by everyone from greatest to the least. This command uses pagination so you can scroll through through multiple pages to check the message counts.

**Syntax usage:**

`[]` = Optional argument (not necessary to be included)

> This command shows the amount of win counts of giveaways hosted in the particular server and in all the servers apollo is in. In addition to the count, this command also shows what prize has been won by that particular user.

> This command shows all the active and ended giveaways in the particular server across all channels. This command also shows other information like giveaway host, giveaway winner of ended giveaways, and the channel the giveaway is in.

`a!gstart`

> This command is used to start giveaways in a particular channel. The format to use this command is `a!gstart <time> <winners> <prize>`. Once you have entered the parameters, Apollo will automatically delete your message and start a giveaway in that particular channel. For Example to host a giveaway with 2 winners, time of 1 hour and prize of Gold, we type in `a!gstart 1h 2 Gold`

> This command is used to end a particular giveaway in a particular channel. If there are more than one giveaways running at the same time then you can use `a!gend <messageid>` to end that particular giveaway, as we replace `<messageid>` with the id of the giveaway.

This command only applies to the local server and not the global giveaway blacklist (i.e. the user can still participate in other giveaways hosted by apollo in other servers) Just type in `a!gwblacklist <@user>` to blacklist them from all giveaways in your server.

What is the Time Difference Module?

What is an override?


----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

> The function "override" is used to overwrite existing configuration of a role on top of another. To better understand the term please refer to the images shown below.

Override does not look for role ranks. i.e. even a role at the bottom of the role list with an override will replace all existing claimtime with the override specified claimtime.

This feature can be used in many ways when you don't want a specific role to have more than desired amount of claimtime. You can also disable this module if you don't want to use it to avoid confusions.

**Syntax usage:**

`<>` = Required argument (mandatory and must be included)

`[]` = Optional argument (not necessary to be included)

What information do you collect?

Information about Discord objects (guilds, users, channels etc.) may be stored to provide the service or for abuse prevention, such as user & guild blacklists. These are usually stored as their unique snowflake generated by Discord, allowing Apollo to retrieve information about them through Discord's API. All information stored on these objects are not end user data and may be excluded from data deletion requests.

Message content is cached in memory to provide features such as snipe command but is never stored outside of this cache unless for debugging purposes. Apollo does not store full message content on disk for any reason not related to providing the service.

You're in control!

You can run the command `a!snipetoggle` to prevent your messages being cached for the snipe command.

Where is this data stored?

Any data collected by Apollo is stored in the secure databases located in the server the bot is hosted on (DigitalOcean). This data is only accessible to the bot owner(s) and the hosting provider.

Periodic backups of the database are taken as a safety precaution to prevent data loss.

As for third-party services, we cannot guarantee where the data is stored therefore we are unable to guarantee data will not be processed and/or stored in certain locations.

Why is the said data collected?

The information received and stored is used in accordance with this privacy policy. This data is solely used to provide and improve our services.

How long is the data stored?

All data related to a guild will be deleted permanently upon removal of the bot from the guild. Any data cached in memory is either stored until the bot restarts or cleared on regular intervals. You can see how long the bot is online for (therefore how long the data has been cached) using the `stats` command.

In addition to this:

*   Guild administrators have the permission to reset all guild data using the `reset` command, without needing to remove the bot.
    
*   Users can opt out of message content collection by using the `snipetoggle` command.

*   Erased data cannot be recovered, we do not store backups of deleted data.
