Press / to focus instantly.

Typing a query returns a live list of matching tokens with real-time market data:

*   Market Cap (with 24h delta/change in %)
    

Each result also includes token age and quick links to chart, explorer, website, etc. Contract address can be copied directly from the row.

Is BONKbot secure?

BONKbot uses a custom signing system to secure your wallet without holding your keys. We call it **The Signer** - a unique, remote, non-custodial setup where only you can approve transactions. Your private key is never visible to anyone else - not us, Telegram, or any third-party.

Every transaction is checked against a template you’ve approved. If the action doesn’t match exactly, it won’t go through. 2FA adds extra protection keeping your funds safe even if your Telegram is compromised. It’s hardware wallet-level security at the heart of BONKbot.

How to Set Up 2FA

1.  **Navigate to the Security Config Section**
    
    *   In BONKbot, go to **Settings** > **Security Config** and select the option to set up **Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)**.
        
    
2.  **Generate Your 2FA Key**
    
    *   BONKbot will display a QR code and a backup key. This information is required to link your account with your authenticator app.
        
    
3.  **Add BONKbot to Your Authenticator App**
    
    *   Open your preferred authenticator app (e.g., Google Authenticator, Authy).
        
    *   If using Google Authenticator, tap the plus button in the bottom right of the app and either:
        
        *   Select "Scan a QR code" and scan the QR code displayed in BONKbot.
            
        *   Select "Enter a setup key" and manually enter the backup key provided, ensuring the type is set to **Time-based**

1.  **Enter the Verification Code**
    
    *   After adding BONKbot to your authenticator app, a 6-digit verification code will be generated. Return to BONKbot and enter this code to complete the setup process.
        
    
2.  **Confirmation**
    
    *   Once the correct code is entered, 2FA will be successfully enabled for your BONKbot account.

*   Sold - Amount exited so far.
    
*   Current Holdings - Total value of the remaining tokens.
    
*   Unrealized PnL - Real-time profit/loss on your remaining size.
    
*   Realized PnL - Profit/loss from what’s already sold.
    
*   Actions - Hide token from the Portfolio page.
    

**2\. Closed Positions**

Fully exited trades.

These are manually hidden - usually dust, spam, or abandoned positions. They still track performance.

*   Tokens can be unhidden at any time.

Stores execution settings for buys and sells. Slippage, priority fee and MEV protection mode. Only one preset is active at a time.

**To Use**

1.  Select a preset (1-3).
    
2.  Set parameters.
    
3.  Click Use Preset to activate.
    
4.  Click Reset to clear.
    

The 4th preset - TG - syncs directly with your BONKbot Telegram settings. Updating at either end synchronises this preset across all trading surfaces.

Auto Buy can be toggled in settings (type /settings) and is activated when the button is green. You can customize the amount you want by clicking on the Sol amount and changing it.

Be careful because BONKbot will NOT ask you for a warning and will automatically buy.

1.  **Phishing Attacks:** fake websites or links that steal your private keys or seed phrases, especially in Telegram, where people will easily call you or DM you. **BONKbot mods and admins will NEVER dm you first - anyone who does is 100% a scammer!**
    
2.  **Malicious Contracts:** There are a few things in this case, such as **Freeze Authority enabled**, **Mint Authority** enabled, and the **Liquidity Pool** unlocked. **We go through how to protect yourself from these dangers in the next pages under Mint Authority, Freeze Authority, and LP Burnt.**
    
3.  A quick and easy way to keep yourself safe is to use [rugcheck.xyz](https://rugcheck.xyz/)
     before you buy any coin. You can paste the coin address (the unique ID of each coin), and rugcheck will tell you how safe it is.
    

With the dominance of Pump.fun, coins can now not be hard rugged anymore (minting, freezing, and removing LP), but users can still hold a lot of the supply and sell it, causing you to lose a lot of money

3.  **Enable Two-Factor Authentication (2FA):**

4.  **Keep private keys secure.**

Selling your tokens is just as fast as buying them!

1.  On the Manage Positions menu, you will be able to view your account on Solscan and the token's chart on Birdeye.
    
2.  If you have multiple positions, you can cycle through them with the arrows
    
3.  Here you can choose to buy more tokens, or sell some or all of your position.

By default, BONKbot displays all token balances in your wallet. However, you have the option to manually hide tokens to reduce clutter in your wallet and/or remove suspicious airdrops.

Example Hiding Tokens with GIF:

To Hide and Manage tokens, follow these steps:

1.  Open the **Sell & Manage** page from the BONKbot home menu
    
2.  Flip through your positions and select the hyperlinked **Hide Token** button for any tokens that you would like to hide - you will receive a confirmation message for each successfully hidden token
    
3.  Return to the home page and navigate to the Wallet menu
    
4.  Select **Manage Tokens** from the Wallet menu
    
5.  Select **Manage Hidden** from the Manage Tokens menu to view your hidden tokens and unhide them

As you may know, you can update [Minimum Position Value](https://docs.bonkbot.io/bonkbot/settings/minimum-position-value)
 from the BONKbot Settings page. You can also update this value directly from the Manage Tokens menu.

In this example, the user starts with 2 manually hidden tokens and 0 hidden by Minimum Position Value. The user updates Min Pos Value from $1 to $40. Upon refreshing the Manage Tokens menu, two positions valued under $40 are now hidden.

BONKBot allows users to set **Limit Orders** for buying and selling tokens on the Solana blockchain. A **Limit Order** lets you define a specific condition under which you would like to execute a buy or sell action. This ensures that your trade is executed at the price or market cap you prefer, providing better control over your trading strategy.

This documentation covers how to set up limit orders for both buying and selling tokens.

The following Limit Order types are available on BONKBot:

*   **Buy Breakout:** Automatically buy tokens when the price breaks above a predefined resistance level, allowing you to capitalize on upward momentum.
    
*   **Buy Dip:** Set a buy order to trigger when the price drops to a specific level, enabling you to accumulate tokens at a lower cost.
    
*   **Take Profit:** Automatically sell your tokens once they reach a specified price, helping you lock in profits before the price drops.
    
*   **Stop Loss:** Limit your losses by selling your tokens if the price falls to a predetermined level, protecting your portfolio from further downside.

**How to Set a Limit Buy:**

1.  Type a new coin address, or go to an existing position.
    
2.  Select the **Limit** ✅ option in the menu.

1.  You can use any one of the following triggers:
    

*   **Market Capitalization (MCap)** in thousands (K), millions (M), or billions (B). For example, "2B" means the order will trigger when the token's market cap hits 2 billion.
    
*   **Price in USD**: Specify the price at which to execute the buy (e.g., “0.05” for $0.05 per token).
    
*   **Multiple**: You can enter a multiple of the current price or market cap (e.g., “0.8x” or "0.5x").
    
*   **Percentage Change**: Set a percentage increase or decrease from the current price (e.g., “+5%” or “-5%”).
    

1.  Confirm the details of the order, including the trigger and amount.

1.  **Enable DCA**

    *   Choose the time interval for your DCA actions (e.g., every 1 minute). This determines how frequently BONKbot will execute a buy or sell order.
        
    
3.  **Define Number of Transactions**
    
    *   Specify the total number of transactions you want to occur within the DCA schedule. For example, setting 10 transactions with a 1-minute interval will execute one transaction every minute for the next 10 minutes.
        
    
4.  **Customize Slippage Tolerance**
    
    *   Adjust the **Slippage** settings (e.g., 10%) to control the maximum allowable price impact per transaction, ensuring trades are executed within your acceptable limits.

# Trailing Stop Loss | BONKbot | BONKbot Docs

A **Trailing Stop Loss** is an advanced order type that automatically adjusts the stop price as the market moves in your favor. **This allows you to secure profits while minimizing potential losses if the price drops.**

With BONKBot, you can easily set a trailing stop loss during a sell order, and it will dynamically follow price increases while protecting your position.

**How Trailing Stop Loss Works:**

*   A **Trailing Stop Loss** is set as a percentage or multiple below the current market price.
    
*   As the token price increases, the trailing stop follows the price movement upwards, maintaining the set distance (either a percentage or price gap)
    
*   If the price drops by the specified amount or percentage, the stop loss triggers and sells your tokens, thus limiting losses or locking in gains.

1.  Select the **Limit** option in the main menu and then choose **Limit Sell %**.
    
2.  Enter the **amount** of your position you want to protect with the trailing stop (e.g., 50% of your current position).
    
3.  You will be asked to specify a **trigger condition**. This will determine how far below the current price the trailing stop will initially be placed. For example:
    
    *   **Percentage change**: Enter a percentage (e.g., "5%"). This means the trailing stop will follow the token’s price upward at a distance of 5%
        
    *   **Multiple:** Enter a multiple (e.g. "0.8x")
        
    
4.  Confirm the details of the trailing stop order and adjust slippage if needed.

*   **Trigger**: 0.8x market cap
    
*   **Amount**: 2.85M Bonk, 50% of the current position.
    
*   **Slippage**: No slippage constraint
    
*   **Trailing**: Enabled (indicated by the green "Trailing" button).
    

This trailing stop order will sell 50% of the user’s position if the market cap falls to 0.8x from any local high.

Once confirmed, this trailing stop will adjust upwards with any market cap increase but will trigger if the token’s market cap drops below the threshold.

2.  **Malicious Contracts:** There are a few things in this case, such as **Freeze Authority enabled**, **Mint Authority** enabled, and the **Liquidity Pool** unlocked. **We go through how to protect yourself from these dangers in the next pages under Mint Authority, Freeze Authority, and LP Burnt.**
    
3.  A quick and easy way to keep yourself safe is to use [rugcheck.xyz](https://rugcheck.xyz/)
     before you buy any coin. You can paste the coin address (the unique ID of each coin), and rugcheck will tell you how safe it is.
    

With the dominance of Pump.fun, coins can now not be hard rugged anymore (minting, freezing, and removing LP), but users can still hold a lot of the supply and sell it, causing you to lose a lot of money

*   **Price in USD**: Specify the price at which to execute the sell (e.g., “0.05” for $0.05 per token).
    
*   **Multiple**: You can enter a multiple of the current price or market cap (e.g., “0.8x” or "0.5x").
    
*   **Percentage Change**: Set a percentage increase or decrease from the current price (e.g., “+5%” or “-5%”).

Also please keep in mind that Burning the Liquidity Pool and Locking the Liquidity Pool are different things.

In this case, I picked the **Burned & Renounced** section. We can see plenty of tokens that might be of interest.

We can see that there are two green checkmarks for Renounced and Burned which informs us that the token has burned the liquidity pool and renounced the mint authority. But we also need to keep in mind another thing - token distribution.

Distributions shows ownership of the token's total supply. It's very important to keep an eye on it because we can assess if the creator or other holders are holding large amounts and could potentially dump on us.

Here we can see that the token creator holds 13% of the entire supply, which is quite a lot. We know that the mint authority has been renounced and that the liquidity pool has been burned, but we see that the creator is holding 13% of the supply.

If we were to buy, he could potentially dump on the holders and drain the liquidity out of the token, effectively rug-pulling despite renouncing mint authority and burning the liquidity pool.

It would be a risky trade to join. He can potentially dump on the holders OR burn his 13% of the token supply which would cause people to buy more and increase the token's value. It is up to you to decide what to do at this point, but generally you are looking for tokens with a well distributed supply (less than 5% per holder, ideally 1-2% for each of the top 10).

There are three parts involved with finding tokens, they are all equally important for your own safety.

1.  Checking tokens for safety
    
2.  Analyzing tokens
    
3.  Finding new coins to invest in

How do you check if a token is safe?

Most importantly - DYOR - which stands for Do Your Own Research. Never trust someone else's advice, but verify for yourself.

Before buying any token, there are a few key things to check beforehand, these include LP Burnt, Mint Authority Disabled and Freeze Authority Disabled.

Read on to understand what each of these points mean

    : Slightly less common, but you must check if the creator of the token can freeze your tokens. If freeze authority isn't disabled, the token developer could potentially freezer your tokens so that you cannot trade or transfer them!
    

These points will help you stay safe - but there are many other things you should be looking for!

How To Research A Token?

The first step of researching any token is checking if it is safe, as outlined above.

Once you've done your safety checks, you can move on to analyzing.

*   Socials: Any decent token should have some active social media presence on Telegram or Twitter. This shows there is effort from the developers, and helps to gather community around the token.

How To Find Coins And Tokens

There a few ways to find good coins, both Birdeye and Dexscreener are massively popular crypto charting websites. You can use them to look at how a coin is doing, and they will also give you filters to help you search for coins. You can also get involved on Telegram, Twitter and Discord to stay abreast of any new coins.

You can use [Birdeye](https://birdeye.so/)
 and [Dexscreener](https://dexscreener.com/)
 to filter new coins based on time-frames and volume.

You may choose anything above $500k Market Cap, and at least 1.5m in 24h volume. This helps you filter for relevant coins, and you can then investigate the socials, and other key features.

This section will list tokens where the Liquidity Pool has been burned. In the context of meme coins, burning a liquidity pool means that the token creator has made the Liquidity Pool of this token unchangeable. Nobody can remove the liquidity pool anymore. Burning the LP usually is seen as the highest indicator that a coin is safe to invest in since the most common way to rugpull is removing the LP. However, the token can still rug in other ways.

Also please keep in mind that Burning the Liquidity Pool and Locking the Liquidity Pool are different things.

There are three parts involved with finding tokens, they are all equally important for your own safety.

1.  Checking tokens for safety
    
2.  Analyzing tokens
    
3.  Finding new coins to invest in

How do you check if a token is safe?

Most importantly - DYOR - which stands for Do Your Own Research. Never trust someone else's advice, but verify for yourself.

Before buying any token, there are a few key things to check beforehand, these include LP Burnt, Mint Authority Disabled and Freeze Authority Disabled.

Read on to understand what each of these points mean

    : If the liquidity pool is burnt, then the developer can’t withdraw the funds because the token creator can't remove liquidity which makes your investment safer. You can use platforms like [BirdEye](https://birdeye.so/)
     or [rugcheck.xyz](https://rugcheck.xyz/)
     to see if the liquidity pool is burnt.
    
2.  [Mint Authority Disabled](https://docs.bonkbot.io/bonkbot/safety-and-security/how-to-trade-safely/mint-authority)
    : It's vital to check that the mint authority is disabled so the creator can't mint infinite tokens and dilute the token's value.
    
3.  [Freeze Authority Disabled](https://docs.bonkbot.io/bonkbot/safety-and-security/how-to-trade-safely/freeze-authority)
    : Slightly less common, but you must check if the creator of the token can freeze your tokens. If freeze authority isn't disabled, the token developer could potentially freezer your tokens so that you cannot trade or transfer them!
    

These points will help you stay safe - but there are many other things you should be looking for!

How To Research A Token?

The first step of researching any token is checking if it is safe, as outlined above.

Once you've done your safety checks, you can move on to analyzing.

*   Socials: Any decent token should have some active social media presence on Telegram or Twitter. This shows there is effort from the developers, and helps to gather community around the token.

*   Market cap: There is no "safe" market cap in memecoins, but the lower the market cap is the more risk you take on. With a small market cap there is a higher chance that there are a couple of small holders who have a large concentration of the supply, causing the coin to be more volatile.

How To Find Coins And Tokens

There a few ways to find good coins, both Birdeye and Dexscreener are massively popular crypto charting websites. You can use them to look at how a coin is doing, and they will also give you filters to help you search for coins. You can also get involved on Telegram, Twitter and Discord to stay abreast of any new coins.

You can use [Birdeye](https://birdeye.so/)
 and [Dexscreener](https://dexscreener.com/)
 to filter new coins based on time-frames and volume.

You may choose anything above $500k Market Cap, and at least 1.5m in 24h volume. This helps you filter for relevant coins, and you can then investigate the socials, and other key features.

Ultimately - while BONKbot is easy to use to trade on telegram, the hard part is finding the coins that will do well. There is no guarantee that coins go up, and in fact most coins do go down.
