The Mallard Order secretly draws much of its power from small stones with glyph symbols engraved onto them known as a $RUNE. Simply by clutching a $RUNE within a Mallard's grasp they can attune themselves to it and gain its power. **$RUNE is The Mallard Order's utility token**. It is what powers The Mallard Order's ecosystem within The Crypt.

_$RUNE is not a form of real world currency and has no real world value. 1 $RUNE = 1 $RUNE._

The maximum supply is **55,500,000 $RUNE** **There will be 3 halving periods. Each halving will reduce $RUNE staking rewards by 50%.** First Halving 50% of total supply mined - (27,750,000) Second Halving 75% of total supply mined (41, 625, 000) Third Halving 87.5% of total supply mined (48,562,000)

**Mallards:**

Each Mallard NFT you stake will be able to mine **5 $RUNE per day.**

You must stake your Mallard NFT to a Smart Contract and thus will no longer hold it in your wallet. You can un-stake at any point but will stop earning rewards if you do so.

You are able to claim your $RUNE at any point, including daily.

Invitation Letters:

Each Invitation Letter you stake will be able to mine **25 $RUNE per day.**

You must stake your Invitation Letter NFT to a Smart Contract and thus will no longer hold it in your wallet. You can un-stake at any point but will stop earning rewards if you do so.

You are able to claim your $RUNE at any point, including daily.

Traits Bonus :

Staking a Mallard with special traits will mine bonus $RUNE when staking. **See the chart below to for each Traits bonus.**

Staking multiple Invitation Letters will mine bonus $RUNE when staking. (not yet implemented)

Staking Mallards with complete Schools of Thought will multiply your overall daily $RUNE rewards. -This bonus has a maximum multiplier achieved by having 5 completed Schools of Thought. (this feature has not been implemented yet)

How to stake

\- On the project's page go to **"STAKING"**

\- Select the NFTs you want to stake - Click on the Stake button and sign the transaction

\- Your NFTs are staked!

**Mutant Labs use a live claiming mechanism where after you build up one token from staking you are already eligible to claim.**

**My stakes don't show, did I lose my NFTs?**

After the NFT leaves your wallet it goes directly to the smart contract: . If your NFT is there, it is safely stored and you are earning the rewards. The website has to sync with the SC, it syncs instantly and the NFTs are shown, but sometimes it might take a few minutes.

**Do I need ADA to stake? Are there any fees?**

Yes, we recommend you to have at least 10 ADA in your wallet to use the staking system. Here are the fees: Stake - 2 ADA fee per transaction (you can stake from 1 to 100 NFTs and pay the SAME 2ADA fee); Un**\-**stake - 2 ADA fee ; Claim - 2 ADA fee. We charge these fees to maintain the platform and the tools we've built. Be aware that you need to pay the blockchain fee on top of the Labs one, that's why we recommend at least 10 ADA.

**I'm getting an error message when staking my NFTs.**

Most errors can be solved with this:

\- Reset your collateral

\- Use an incognito tab

\- Send 10 ADA to yourself and try again.
